Are you a detail-oriented HR professional with a passion for people and processes? Downtown AutoGroup is seeking a skilled HR Manager to join our dynamic team at our brand new, state-of-the-art Autoplex facility in Downtown Toronto!

Your Role

As HR Manager, you will play a key role in a wide range of human resources & compliance functions.

You Will Assist With Maturing Our HR Function By

  • overseeing our recruitment and talent acquisition processes, including conducting pre-screening, coordinating interviews, and managing our applicant tracking system
  • implementing and facilitating a consistent onboarding process for all employees, including conducting orientation sessions and coordinating required documentation/training
  • developing a consistent training program for all roles within the organization, specifically on delivering an exceptional guest experience
  • providing thoughtful support and guidance to our employees regarding HR matters
  • Developing career progression plans and promoting professional and career growth for our employees
  • working closely with our senior team to prepare employment agreements, job descriptions, performance improvement plans and other related documents
  • participate in performance management meetings
  • oversee health and safety program

This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with DAG’s senior leadership team. The successful candidate won’t just be part of a team, they will be a key component of our DAG community.

Key Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an HR Manager role at a fast-paced organization
  • Proficient in managing hiring processes and onboarding
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understand the importance of providing an exceptional customer experience to both internal and external customers
  • Highly organized with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Valid Ontario G Driver’s License with no demerit points
