Robert Half is currently working with a manufacturing client seeking an interim Senior Finance Manager for an 18 month contract. The Senior Finance Manager will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

Robert Half is currently working with a manufacturing client seeking an interim Senior Finance Manager for an 18 month contract. The Senior Finance Manager will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
- Gather information for period end reporting packages from all Business Units and Plants to create management financial reports.
- Responsible for preparing consolidated financial statements for several Canadian entities.
- Take ownership of the month end process
- Ensure all internal reporting deadlines are met and help re-prioritize the teams work, where necessary
- Review existing financial processes and procedures and recommend improvements to help streamline the workflow and increase internal controls.
- Participate in ad-hoc analysis as directed by the Senior Leadership Team
- Participate in the upcoming Dynamics 365 implementation project, including user acceptance testing.
Requirements:
- CPA designation or equivalent
- Strong IFRS experience, able to review/write accounting memos
- Strong Communicator, able to work with stakeholders across Canada, US, and Europe
- Being able to deal with ambiguity and change
