Position: Mechanical Engineering Co-op/Intern

Number of Position: 1

Duration: 4 Months

Date: Sept 3 rd , 2024, to Dec 20 th , 2024

Education Recommendations

Currently a candidate for a bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.

Responsibilities

As a part of our team, you will:

  • Assist mechanical engineers analyzing and documenting all material properties in Nokia telecommunication products, using 3D software and MS office tools.
  • Provide product summary reports of all various material content by weight to be incorporated in LCA (Life cycle analysis)
  • Support highly motivated mechanical engineering professionals with day-to-day activities as required, including in lab assembly of prototypes and HW documents.
  • Help support and create software solutions our mechanical and electrical engineers can use beyond your term with us.

Required Skills

You Have:

  • Working knowledge of PTC Pro-Engineer tool is an asset.
  • Experience with electronics packaging in an asset.
  • Self-motivated enthusiastic team player with good written and verbal communication skills

It would be nice if you also had:

  • General understanding of Telecom products
  • Proficient with MS office tools, including Word and Excel
