On behalf of our Government Sector client, Procom is searching for a Systems Testing/Quality Assurance Specialist - Senior for an 8 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.


Systems Testing/Quality Assurance Specialist - Senior - Job Description:

The project involves implementing and executing comprehensive test strategies for web applications within Agile and DevOps frameworks. The role focuses on ensuring the system functions meet business requirements through rigorous testing methodologies.


Systems Testing/Quality Assurance Specialist - Senior - Responsibilities:

• Participate in business requirements walkthroughs
• Analyze business requirements documentation including Use Cases, User Stories, User Map Journeys, and non-functional requirements
• Develop and contribute to the testing strategy and create systems test plans and test suites
• Execute system and user acceptance tests adhering to HSC Test Methodology
• Create and execute automated test scripts using automated testing tools
• Verify actual results meet expected results and document system variances
• Provide recommendations to the Project Manager regarding system component acceptance
• Facilitate and manage stakeholder communication throughout project life cycles
  
  
  

Systems Testing/Quality Assurance Specialist - Senior - Mandatory Skills:

• 5+ years in implementing and executing comprehensive test strategies for web applications within Agile and DevOps frameworks
• Skilled in utilizing version control systems, such as Git, and CI/CD tools like MS Azure DevOps
• Experience analyzing business requirements documentation including Use Cases, User Stories, User Map Journeys, and non-functional requirements
• Extensive experience in automated testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium or SOAP UI
• Experience working with federal/provincial/broader public-sector healthcare providers
  
  
  

Systems Testing/Quality Assurance Specialist - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of the provincial immunization system and Public Sector large complex IT Health related projects
• Experience with integration of Clinical IT Systems such as Client and Provider Registries
• Knowledge of Public Sector Enterprise Architecture artifacts, processes, and practices
• Experience in troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving
• Strong consulting skills to engage with all stakeholders
