Rate of Pay: $25.104 - $29.531 per hour

Reporting to the Manager - Financial Services and under the technical direction of the General Ledger Analyst, the Business Office Clerk is responsible for the Hospital's primary accounts receivable system which deals with all in-patient revenues.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:
  • Post-secondary education in business administration majoring in accounting or other relevant discipline
  • Previous accounting experience in a computerized environment

Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Demonstrate accuracy, organizational skills, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work as a team member as well as independently
  • Ability to use independent judgement and maintain confidentiality of records, actions, and information
  • Must be a basic level in word processing, an intermediate level in spreadsheet software
  • Must be proficient in data entry

Assests:
  • Familiarity with Meditech and Virtuo accounting software
