As a Project Manager I, you will be responsible for providing support to the operations, programs, and projects of the EAST PMO team to ensure TELUS's success. You will bring your experience and expertise to improve and design our operations, tools, procedures, participate in automation opportunities, and take on network deployment projects. You will be a key player in initiating and actively realizing multiple opportunities. You will have the opportunity to develop new skills, new knowledge, take on new challenges while expanding your network of contacts. Your ability to create and seize opportunities will be the key element of your success.
What you'll do
- Assist the Qc PFC team
- Assist Qc and Offshore PFC team to establish and sustain operational alignment between the two teams
- Implement and document procedures, as well as implement reports, automations, and identify operational efficiency opportunities
- Share and effectively communicate the progress of ongoing opportunities, challenges, and solutions
- Provide support for national initiatives
- Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of best practices and proactive measures related to project management operations, training, processes, etc
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, initiate, and implement improvements
- Lead network deployment projects and monitor their progress in accordance with organizational standards
Qualifications
What you bring
- 2+ years of experience in a project management environment, network engineering, resource management
- Experience in improving operational processes and procedures
- Ability to adapt to changes and implement required mitigations
- Demonstrated expertise in utilizing SAP and BW for executing transactions, generating reports, and making modifications.
- Advance skills in Excel, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google Sites.
- Preferred degree in engineering or computer science or, information technology or administration or equivalent combination of experience
- Bilingual in French and English
Great to haves:
- Professional certification (PMP, ITIL, AGILE, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of tools such as Domo, JIRA, Google Studio
Intermediate knowledge of English is required because you will on a regular basis interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.
