Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together


You will support procurement managers and business owners in understanding, interpreting, and negotiating contracts for various products and services, including hardware, software, and IT services. As well, you will provide advice on other procurement related matters.


You will be part of a tight-knit team that will guide and mentor you to become a trusted business advisor. In this role, you will develop and strengthen relationships with colleagues, key stakeholders and clients by cultivating a deep understanding of their business in order to provide proactive, solution-oriented legal advice.


You will also gain new knowledge and contribute to initiatives supporting our clients’ learning and development. You will be part of an innovative team that is advancing legal and business practices by driving new approaches and process improvements, including through the adoption of new technologies.


Qualifications


  • Experience interpreting, negotiating, and drafting vendor or business to business contracts
  • Ability to apply legal skills combined with business acumen, initiative, creativity, and a collaborative style
  • Comfortable engaging with and communicating legal advice to a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Possess a growth mindset and willingness to learn new technologies as TELUS continues to evolve its business
  • From 2 to 4 years post-call experience
  • Member in good standing with a provincial Law Society in Canada

Nice to Haves


  • IT and Cloud Services experience
  • Curious about legal technology and GenAI tools
  • Proficient in another language
  • Procurement experience

Salary Range: $120,000-$180,000 Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%
