About The Opportunity…

As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position will supervise the Parts Department with the goal of increasing revenue, profitability and internal/external sales. Specifically:

  • assist in the development and implementation of growth strategies, execution standards, action plans and objectives for the parts operation
  • deliver key performance indicators through execution, team development and coaching and inter-company planning
  • supervise the inventory, ensuring availability of high-demand parts, pricing and ordering; manage supplier relationships
  • pivot business plans by understanding the competitive landscape and market trends; analyze trends and results to enact change management as needed
  • oversee wholesale parts business – maintain sales volume, inventory and selling prices by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
  • work with Service Department to ensure timely delivery of parts

About You…

Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience in Parts Sales and Operations, and have a passion for performance. Skills and attitudes include:

  • three (3) years of proven experience as an Assistant Parts Manager; dealership experience preferred
  • five (5) years proven experience as a Parts Advisor
  • technical knowledge and experience in the parts and accessories industry
  • relevant and up-to-date knowledge of parts and accessories, as well as the supply chain and logistics of operating a distribution system
  • ability to organize clerical work, administration, control systems and financial resources
  • ERA/Reynolds or other DMS platform experience
  • ability to manage a team
