The Marketing Content & Media Curator reporting to Manager, Marketing Administration - Alberta is based in the Sherwood Park location. The Marketing Content & Media Curator is an on-site position responsible for curating content from a variety of sources, structuring it into logical learning paths, and ensuring a professional and consistent user experience within our proprietary Learning Management System (LMS). This role requires a blend of instructional design sensibility, technical proficiency, and strong communication skills. The Marketing Content & Media Curator will also play a key role in maintaining quality standards, managing version control, and continuously improving training processes to meet evolving business needs.
Hours of work will be: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm.

Essential Responsibilities
- Curate, organize, and produce training content from internal and external sources.
- Translate raw materials (presentations, notes, conversations) into polished, structured modules.
- Build and manage courses, learning paths, user enrollments, assessments, and reports in the LMS.
- Perform regular quality assurance (QA) checks and content updates within the LMS.
- Tailor communication styles to suit internal (e.g., compliance training) and external (e.g., dealer training) audiences.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to clarify and develop learning content.
- Create clean, branded learning materials using PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and LMS tools.
- Record and edit short video/audio content using tools like Clipchamp, Loom, or MS Stream.
- Maintain a professional, consistent tone and appearance across all training materials.
- Apply version control and document content development processes for future use.
- Ensure a learner-friendly experience, focusing on clarity, navigation, and accessibility.
- Support related administrative or content management tasks as needed.
- Handle confidential training content with discretion and professionalism.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A post-secondary degree in Instructional Design or Adult learning, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in e-learning design or content creation for adult learners is an asset.
- Proven experience with LMS platforms; ability to quickly learn proprietary systems.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
- Familiarity with video/audio editing tools (Clipchamp, Loom, MS Stream) is a strong asset.
- Excellent written communication skills with an emphasis on plain language.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Comfortable scripting and presenting technical or compliance-heavy content.
- Experience creating standardized templates, checklists, and process documentation.
- Professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive or regulated training content.
- Fluent in English with proven competencies in verbal and written communication is required.
- Fluent in French with proven competencies in verbal and written communication is an asset.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check, education verification, and employment reference checks is required before employment.
