Location: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Eligible for hybrid work, following successful completion of probationary period
Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000, based on knowledge, skills and experience

What You'll Be Doing
As the HR Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the smooth and effective delivery of core HR processes and programs. You'll be the organizational engine behind the team, helping to create a seamless and positive experience for our employees. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate employee records and reports through our Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS, such as UKG)
- Assisting with HR reporting and analysis to support data-driven decision making
- Supporting Learning Management System (LMS) administration and reporting
- Organizing digital documentation, email communications, and shared inboxes
- Ensuring compliance with recordkeeping standards and confidentiality protocols
- Assisting with government surveys and CRA requirements
- Experience using HRIS platforms like UKG (or similar systems)
- Strong Excel skills (think pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and conditional formatting)
- A knack for organizing information, managing priorities, and staying on top of deadlines
- A high level of discretion and professionalism, you know how to handle sensitive information with care
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, you’re comfortable wearing many hats
- An eye for detail and a natural drive to get things right the first time
