Job Profile
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Full Stack Web Developer to take technical ownership of the development and maintenance of all websites under Quectel and its sub-brands. This role is responsible for building scalable, high-performance web applications and content platforms that support global marketing, product showcasing, and lead generation. You will work closely with design, marketing, and product teams to implement visually compelling and functionally robust websites, ensuring consistency, security, and performance across all domains. Strong understanding of WordPress development, CI/CD pipelines, version control best practices, and cross-team Git collaboration are key to success in this role.

This role is responsible for building scalable, high-performance web applications and content platforms that support global marketing, product showcasing, and lead generation. You will work closely with design, marketing, and product teams to implement visually compelling and functionally robust websites, ensuring consistency, security, and performance across all domains. Strong understanding of WordPress development, CI/CD pipelines, version control best practices, and cross-team Git collaboration are key to success in this role.
Responsibilities
- To design, develop, and maintain multiple corporate and product websites under Quectel using modern web frameworks and CMS platforms including WordPress
- To collaborate with UI/UX designers and marketing stakeholders to implement responsive, user-friendly web pages and components
- To build reusable front-end modules and back-end APIs that support scalable global operations
- To develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins as needed
- To optimize website performance for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness
- To manage web hosting, DNS, domain configurations, CDN, and cloud infrastructure as needed
- To implement and maintain multilingual, region-specific versions of global websites
- To ensure codebase follows best practices in terms of security, maintainability, and documentation
- To integrate third-party systems including CRMs, analytics platforms, marketing automation tools, and lead generation forms
- To implement CI/CD workflows for automated testing and deployment of website updates
- To work with Git version control using pull requests, code reviews, and collaboration best practices
- To troubleshoot issues across the stack and provide timely resolutions
- To stay updated with new technologies, frameworks, and security best practices to continually improve the website infrastructure
- To assist with version control, deployment processes, and web project management workflows
- Other duties as the business requires.
- 3–7 years of experience as a full stack developer managing corporate or e-commerce websites
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, or Angular) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, or PHP)
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS (including preprocessors), and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Extensive experience with WordPress, including theme customization, plugin development, and multisite setup
- Experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Strapi, or headless CMS solutions
- Familiarity with web hosting, server-side rendering, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with Git version control, including pull requests, branch management, and collaboration workflows
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical tasks into business-relevant actions and status updates
- Must have strong and practical experience with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in English B2 level or above, e.g., IELTS 6.5+, CET-6 500+, with native or professional working proficiency in Chinese
- Knowledge of security protocols, GDPR/CCPA compliance, and web accessibility is a strong plus
- Willing to travel occasionally if needed.
