Overseas Contractor - Data Fabric Project Manager

Mobilization
Agree business objectives with senior stakeholders eg GSREP Program
Defining specific project goals scope budget requirements inc headcount and other spend
Conduct project planning workshops for each to define and refine delivery scope
Secure approvals Architecture IT Risk Financial etc as part of RBC CM processes eg Project Approval Review PAR
Project Planning
Collaborate with stakeholders and the delivery team to break down the items of work and develop an executable Project Plan with L1 L2 milestones described on an outcome basis in plain language
Developing a Resource Plan ie the required skills and team composition
Documenting and maintaining Risks Issues Assumptions Dependencies in a formal RAID log
Identifying the Critical Path ie what is the sequence of sequential activities that has the greatest bearing on timelines and hence must remain ontrack
Project Delivery
Work closely with engineering vendors etc to coordinate and drive project execution and ensure deliverables are delivered ontime
Identify potential blockers risks capture in RAID and eliminate and or escalating as needed
Collaborate with Quality Engineering to ensure automation for test capabilities
Defining appropriate Performance Metrics monitor to provide visibility on delivery against agreed outcomes
Governance Communications
Producing Project Status Reports and communicating to stakeholders in a formal governance forum on a recurring basis eg monthly
Status reporting to include
oQualitative updates in progress in past month and objectives for next month
oDelivery tracking against L1L2 milestones with RAG status
oPerformance Metrics
oKey Risks and Issues
Regularly communicating internally to the team on progress and ensuring everyone understands the business goals and how their work fits in
What do you need to succeed
Minimum Requirements
Ability to work independently apply critical and strategic thinking to issues and manage deadlines while balancing competing priorities
Effective stakeholder relationship management and strong collaboration
10 years of working on mediumtohigh complexity initiatives with Project Program delivery
Project Management Certification PMP or equivalent
Experience working with multisite teams
Business domain understanding of Financial Services Capital Markets

Compensation range: $70.00 to $75.00 per hour
