A career in Sales and Marketing (S&M), within Business Enablement, will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and driving long-term, profitable revenue growth for the Firm. As part of our Business Enablement Leadership team and reporting to the National BE Leader and the National Managing Partner – Clients and Markets, you’ll provide strategic oversight, manage operations, and partner with Leaders to position PwC as the most relevant professional services firm in Canada. The Sales & Marketing Leader (“S&ML”) is a dynamic leader who is savvy in both tech (e.g.: Generative AI) and analytics, and who will craft/enable an innovative strategy to drive brand recognition, net new sales, and loyal clients. This strategy will support cross-selling/revenue growth of existing and new accounts, as well as pursuing new opportunities to achieve the firm’s profitable sales goals. The successful S&ML will challenge the status quo, look for ways to create efficiencies, and bring with them an agile and flexible approach to their leadership.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As a Sales & Marketing Leader, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • In partnership with Leaders, leading the development of the S&M strategy and roadmap, and driving implementation in collaboration with all areas of the business (e.g., industries, sectors, regions, etc.)
  • Leading and managing large, complex strategic initiatives for National S&M functions, ensuring end-to-end delivery and realization of business benefits.
  • Advising industry and sector leaders about best practices contextually adapted to professional services firms.
  • Supporting the development of S&M industry- and sector-aligned programs; supporting the development of managed accounts programs.
  • Leading the M&S team; overseeing and managing teams running sales planning, sales operations, client data governance, and account management support functions.
  • Driving industry best practices in Sales, Sales Enablement, Proposals Support & Operations, Insights & Operations, Digital Solutions, and Marketing that are aligned to the firm’s priorities.
  • Driving new and innovative ways to enhance our brand in the market (e.g.: making our people famous).
  • Determining and delivering on learning and development needs for the S&M team in partnership with the HC team; developing recruitment and succession plans for key lead roles on the S&M team.
  • Delivering on people engagement and retention goals; mentoring select top talent to foster, support, and develop diverse talent.
  • Representing Canada in Global S&M initiatives; collaborating with other territories to drive efficiency and alignment.

Experiences And Skills You’ll Use To Solve

  • Senior leadership experience in sales and marketing, preferably in professional services or B2B environments.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale strategic initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration across industries, sectors, and regions.
  • Proficiency in data analytics, sales performance metrics, and CRM systems; Salesforce is preferred.
  • Ability to influence senior leadership and collaborate with global counterparts.
  • Experience representing a national function in global initiatives and aligning with international strategies.
  • Experience leading a large, diverse, and high-performing S&M team.
  • Ability to mentor and develop talent, with a focus on diversity; experience in workforce planning, succession planning, and team engagement.
