Position Summary

As the Field Technology & Innovation Manager, you will lead efforts to evaluate, pilot, and implement tools, methods, and technologies that improve productivity, reduce risk, and enhance quality on CAM projects. You’ll work directly with field teams, project managers, quality personnel, and corporate leadership to close the gap between innovation and field readiness—ensuring that new solutions are vetted, practical, and aligned with the pace of industrial project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and prioritize field technologies and process improvements that enhance construction, turnaround, and maintenance performance.
  • Coordinate pilot programs in collaboration with project execution teams, capturing site-level feedback and performance metrics.
  • Evaluate pilot outcomes and develop business cases for broader adoption, ensuring solutions meet safety, quality, and schedule objectives.
  • Partner with operations, quality, safety, and corporate leadership to align innovation with business goals.
  • Drive change management and training efforts to ensure successful integration of new systems or practices on-site.
  • Benchmark industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor approaches to maintain CAM’s competitive edge.
  • Support strategic planning around innovation and operational excellence, contributing to CAM’s growth strategy.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial construction, field execution, maintenance, or turnaround environments.
  • Familiarity with quality control practices, field automation, lean construction, or productivity optimization tools.
  • Proven track record of identifying and integrating improvements on job sites—tools, workflows, or methodologies.
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills across technical, field, and leadership teams.
  • Curious, analytical, and practical in balancing innovation with real-world jobsite demands.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both frontline workers and executive leadership.
  • Willingness to travel to various project sites across the U.S. and Canada
