Dermalogica is seeking a motivated, skin therapist trained Account Manager to contribute to our growing retail business by leading all sales and training initiatives in the British Columbia market including remote doors and Vancouver Island. You will work to engage and excite both Beauty Advisors and clients alike by hosting workshops/training sessions, developing store level incentives, working with store leads to execute visual merchandising strategies, managing pre-planned event concepts while providing quality sales support to achieve sales objectives, you will also support our Alberta Sephora business.


What you will do:


Deliver elevated education to Sephora Beauty Advisor

  • Educate Sephora Beauty Advisors in-store with a general focus on brand, innovation/hero products and Face Mapping Skin Analysis/treatment concepts
  • Adapt training style based on the knowledge level of the Beauty Advisors in session
  • Facilitate hands-on learning within these sessions
  • Provide expert tips and tricks to ensure Dermalogica remains top of mind
  • Guide Beauty Advisors on the selection of Dermalogica products to be used in Sephora services


Support retail sales ‘on-stage.’

  • Approach clients to connect and engage in conversation to ultimately drive sales
  • Encourage clients to ‘play’ with the product and experience a skin service in-store
  • Ensure Dermalogica displays are clean and merchandised according to the given planogram/assortment
  • Provide brand agnostic recommendations to the client and be prepared to support other ‘worlds’ within the store


Lead eventing initiatives at store level

  • Manage educational and sales driven events in-store
  • Achieve retail sales goals
  • Manage promotional event support team
  • Seek client service participation in-store
  • Responsible for setup and teardown of event materials
  • Portray the most polished and professional image to the client
  • Complete reports on promotional results, sales targets and qualitative feedback


Administration duties

  • Complete Sephora and Dermalogica required reports after every store visit
  • Manage calendar to meet Dermalogica’s expectation of store visit frequency
  • Respond to e-mails from the Sephora store and Sr. Sephora Account Manager quickly
  • Communicate store and stock concerns to Sr. Sephora Account Manager and National Account Director as needed to support the business
  • Oversee assigned Retail Associates by managing schedules and sales reports


Your qualifications:

  • You have worked in the retail industry as an account manager for a minimum of two years with proven sales success
  • You are experienced in the Sephora retail environment
  • You have a flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • You have a valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle
  • You are a trained professional skin therapist
