The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for the completion of professional activities that include assessment, treatment, education, and management of clients requiring speech treatment, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders (children and adults).

- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Utilize your expertise to diagnose a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Create and implement personalized, evidence-based therapy plans that cater to each client’s unique needs.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with physicians, psychologists, educators, and other professionals to provide holistic and integrated care.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure meticulous and up-to-date client records, adhering to all regulatory standards.
- Engage in Continuous Learning: Stay ahead in your field by participating in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Educate and Empower Clients: Provide clients and their families with effective strategies to support communication and swallowing functions, enhancing their quality of life.

- Registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists or Speech-Language Pathologists required
- Three (3) years’ experience providing Speech-Language Pathology services preferred
- Experience completing in-home assessments and treatments; knowledge of auto insurance and legal system is an asset particularly medical/legal report writing
- Enjoy working with clients of all ages in multiple treatment environments. Strong communication (oral and written) and exceptional interpersonal and decision-making skills
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of personal computers, and proficiency with secure email
- Valid driver’s license, insurance and willingness to commute within your geographical area of assignment
- Area of service is Greater Hamilton, Burlington, Brant, Niagara
