The evolving needs of learners and industry means that institutions like NAIT are continuously undertaking large and complex projects to meet those needs. With continuous evolution on the horizon, we are recruiting for the role of Organizational Change Management Specialist to establish and sustain new business transformation capabilities that will be critical to our continued success as a leading polytechnic and advancing the NAIT Effect.

Our successful candidate will be a creative, enthusiastic and self-motivated collaborator with a well-developed understanding of organizational change management leading practices. The ability to build credibility and trust with staff across the organization is imperative. Understanding of working in partnership with other dynamic and innovative transformation professionals, such as organizational project managers, is a must.

In this role, you will support strategic and change management processes, participate, inform, and lead required activities and engagements with various business area leaders and staff across NAIT. Your expertise and knowledge will help establish a framework that fosters thought leadership, relationship management, and effective change management.

As a Organizational Change Management Specialist, you will fill the role of a trusted business partner to frontline leaders across NAIT, focusing on developing solutions for complex challenges. You ask the right questions to build the right plan and deliver it the right way. You will be able to effectively present information in a range of formats, demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, and champion the NAIT’s values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the guidance of senior Change Management Specialists.

  • Consult with frontline leaders to develop and facilitate team development, process improvement, culture enhancement, organizational design, and stakeholder engagements. This position may also be involved in the facilitation of large-scale organizational strategy and change management sessions with guidance from Senior Organizational Change Management Specialists.

  • Support frontline leaders through coaching to realize their strategic objectives.

  • Develop and facilitate workshops, sessions, and employee engagement to produce specified outcomes aligned with organizational strategy.

  • Support and collaborate with the Organizational Change Management team.

  • Stay current on change management trends and leading practices and share this knowledge with colleagues.

  • Work remotely but will be available to attend meetings on-site as needed.

Qualifications:

Need to have

  • A related undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.

  • Experience in facilitating groups and conversations.

  • Must be able to attend work at NAIT's Main Campus in Edmonton when required.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a consulting role, with leadership stories to tell of your successes and challenges.

  • Related certifications such as Professional Facilitator (IAF), or psychometric tools.

Remuneration: $84,655.22 - $112,153.60 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Please Note: Salary is currently under review.
