The Role
Freight Club is a leading provider in the shipping industry, dedicated to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to our clients. We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager to join our team and help shape the future of logistics technology. In this role, you’ll be at the intersection of product strategy, technical integration, and customer experience. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, and external partners to build scalable, high-impact solutions that drive value for our users and strengthen our integration ecosystem.

The Salary Range for this role is between $85,000 and $105,000 depending on experience, skills, training and organizational needs. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location.

Who You Are
- You’re an excellent communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into clear business requirements.
- You’re a strategic thinker who can balance short-term needs with long-term vision.
- You have 3+ years of experience in a Technical Product Manager or similar role.
- You have a strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, and SaaS platforms.
- You’re comfortable reading and interpreting technical documentation.
- You have experience working with agile development teams and managing product backlogs.
- Experience in logistics, shipping, or eCommerce is a strong asset.
- You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and remote-flexible environment.

- You’re tenacious and proactive in unblocking issues, especially when working with third-party partners or external teams.
- You’re confident communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, clearly articulating blockers, solutions, and next steps.
- You’re highly self-organized and proactive—able to anticipate issues, align stakeholders early, and follow through without waiting for problems to escalate.
- You take pride in defining clear, complete requirements—thinking through edge cases, writing binary acceptance criteria, and ensuring nothing is ambiguous for the development team.
- Define and lead the technical integration strategy and roadmap to scale our integration architecture.
- Review and evaluate API documentation from eCommerce platforms, freight carriers, large customers, and third-party partners to assess integration opportunities.
- Dive deep into technical discussions with partner engineering teams to drive robust and scalable solutions.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
- Prioritize features and manage the product backlog to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Become a subject matter expert in logistics technology and integration best practices.
- Stay informed on competitive trends and emerging technologies to inform product strategy.
- Own external technical relationships with integration partners, ensuring timelines stay on track through persistent follow-up and clear escalation when needed.
- Communicate blockers and technical risks early and often to internal and external stakeholders, driving toward resolution with clarity and urgency.
- Ensure all stakeholders—internal teams, external partners, and customers—are aligned at each stage of the integration lifecycle by proactively managing expectations and communications.
- Define and groom features and integration requirements with precision, including binary acceptance criteria, failure scenarios, and all conceivable user and system flows to ensure high-quality execution.
