Within the Culture and People Office (CPO), our goal is to have every one of our people say of their achievements with clients and the firm, “I only could have done it at Deloitte.” In this Manager (Partner Experience) role, you’ll have the opportunity to bring this value proposition to life and make an impact that matters. Working at the intersection of our business and people strategies, you will influence and implement future-focused talent strategies that drive growth and the transformation of our business.


In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting partners by providing operational guidance and practical solutions that align with our business, culture, and people priorities. Leveraging your partner-centric approach and sound judgment, you will lead a dynamic team, overseeing key operational processes, managing reporting requests and ensuring the efficient execution of day-to-day activities while driving continuous improvement for the Canadian partnership alongside our Business Managing Partner.


Collaboration is essential as you will work closely with other critical internal teams to ensure alignment and deliver outcomes that support our team goals. You will supervise and mentor team members, fostering their development and ensuring the highest standards of delivery.

What will your typical day look like?


  • Operational Leadership:
    • Manage day-to-day operational activities and reporting requests for internal teams, driving efficiency and continuous improvement for the Canadian partnership alongside the Business Managing Partner
    • Build and maintain trusted relationships with partners, influencing decisions and driving alignment across the partnership group
  • Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment:
    • Work closely with critical internal teams like Talent Services, Independence, Partner Tax & Accounting, Payroll, Benefits, Immigration, Tax, Office of the General Counsel, Office of the Chair, etc. to support partners’ needs, ensure alignment, and deliver integrated solutions
    • Seamlessly transition between advising partners, executing operational initiatives, and coordinating collaborative efforts on behalf of the partnership
  • Partner Experience Team Management and Development:
    • Supervise and mentor team members, providing feedback and guidance and fostering a positive work environment that drives high standards of delivery
    • Provide operational guidance to the team and practical solutions and advice to partners, ensuring alignment with business, culture, and people priorities
    • Ensure firm values and purpose are embedded in daily operations
  • Reporting and Data-Driven Insights:
    • Manage and respond to reporting requests specific to partners, leveraging analytics to provide actionable insights
    • Utilize analytics from team tracker to provide insights and reports to the Business Managing Partner

The Culture and People Office (CPO) delivers business-focused, efficient, and innovative programs focused on bringing our “I could have only done it at Deloitte” people promise to life. The CPO function consists of Business Experience (HR Business Partners), People Experience (HR Operations) and an agile Workplace Experience Centre of Expertise (CoE), supported by dedicated teams: Learning & Development; Partner Experience; Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; Digital Experience; and Culture & Change functions. Together these teams bring a diverse set of capabilities together to create a fundamentally different talent experience that is powered by digital, data-driven, employee-centric, leading practice, and enabled from the center. This role will sit in the Partner Experience team.

Previous experience that will help set you up for success in this role:


  • Minimum five years of experience in Human Resources or other relevant business experience;
  • Proven experience as a business partner or in a similar managerial role, ideally supporting senior leaders or partners;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize operational processes, ensuring efficient execution of day-to-day activities and delivery of high-quality outcomes;
  • Experience managing and supervising teams, with a focus on supporting development, performance, and high standards of delivery;
  • Strong background in HR practices, with a focus on influencing and driving alignment in accordance with employment legislation and standards;
  • Keen focus on attention to detail and comfortable with word-smithing and drafting written documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with team members and partners;
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and reporting to inform partner-related decisions (advanced Excel skills an asset);
  • Experience managing reporting requests and leveraging technology to streamline operational workflows;
  • Proven ability to lead change initiatives and drive continuous improvement, particularly in operational and process optimization;
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment;
  • Relevant university degree, CHRP designation, or equivalent knowledge/experience; and
  • Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National clients, bilingualism in French and English is an asset

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
