Responsibilities

The Senior Business Analyst will support the design and implementation of the ONE ID 2.0 solution. This new phase will be used by broader healthcare systems and organizations, leveraging modern technology and standards for a SaaS product and managed service provider. Key responsibilities include supporting development of the product backlog and roadmap, project and support documentation, and solution evaluation. Additionally, the Senior Business Analyst will support the Team Lead in executing initiatives to operationalize ONE ID 2.0 and manage coexistence with ONE ID during the transition.

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of Identity and Authorization Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices.
  • Experience with a wide range of methods, tools, and techniques for business analysis such as: business functional modelling, business event modelling, business process mapping
  • Experience in structured, object oriented and agile methodologies for user requirements and business analysis.
  • Experience developing performance measures for business analysis evaluation and subsequent follow-up.
  • Requirements elicitation and relationship management with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Experience in requirements management tools/technologies such as Jira & Azure Dev Ops

Required Skills

  • Experience conducting requirements gathering, developing documentation, including presentations, and briefing notes and conducting stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in conducting business analysis at varying levels of details, aligning with Project Management Methodology, Enterprise Architecture and Gating Process.
  • High level of experience in developing processes for requirements gathering including but not limited to JAD sessions (Joint Application Development), interviews, mock-ups.
  • Experience in business modelling; use case modelling; conceptual and logical data modelling; process and data flow modelling; use case surveys; business rules definition and non-functional requirements definitions for assigned projects.
  • Experience in project monitoring, problem solving and reporting.
  • Develops performance measures and traceability matrices for business analysis evaluation and conducts follow-ups.
  • Awareness of emerging I&IT trends and technologies
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines

Deliverables

  • Backlog Management Support: Ensure the solution meets business objectives by maintaining accurate, high quality requirements over the course of the project
  • Change Management: Inform development and implementation of the transition plan from current state to ONE ID 2.0.
  • Documentation Support: Develop project artefacts, technical and client-facing documentation to keep partners informed and support solution rollout.
  • Solution Evaluation: Assess vendor deliverables against stated requirements to assure solution quality.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engaging with business and technical stakeholders, including clinicians, Ontario Health portfolios, vendors, and Ontario Health Teams (OHTs), to ensure alignment and facilitate integration.
  • Business Process Modelling: Develop and refine business processes to support transition to and operation of ONE ID 2.0.

Knowledge Transfer Details

  • The resource will ensure full knowledge transfer is provided to the Ontario Health team before end of engagement. Some of this might occur at the end of the engagement but will also be shared as information is obtained/consolidated. Key deliverables will be shared with team.
  • The resource must provide all related documentation as part of Knowledge transfer protocol. Documents will be reviewed by the appropriate leads and signed off by manager/director.
  • The resource will work collaboratively with the Ontario Health team throughout the assignment and ensure key deliverables, milestones, and documentation are shared.
  • A walkthrough of any demos, development, etc. will be required before the end of the engagement.
