Description
Location: Richmond, BC
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7pm-11pm, 20h/week
Pay-rate: $22.94 per hour
Class 5 license needed
The PM Truck Parker/Truck Washer and Sorter, moves/parks Purolator Inc. vehicles, as well as truck washing duties. Sorter duties include separating freight by destination, weight, size and shape to meet client delivery schedules.
Responsibilities
Truck Parking, truck washing Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.
Experience
Additional Responsibilities
Must have a Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
Drivers Abstract required, with no more than four (4) demerit points
Must successfully pass the Road Test, Defensive Driving, and Courier Methods
Driving experience of three (3) years required, with a valid Class 5 Driver’s license
