Summary
We are looking for an engaging and service driven professional to join our Bouygues team, as Facilities Maintenance Coordinator.
Reporting to the Maintenance Interface Manager, the Facilities Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible to improve work force productivity and work quality through the planning and scheduling of all reactive and planned maintenance work performed for some of our Canada sites.
The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator will ensure that all internal customers of maintenance receive timely, efficient and quality services whilst adhering to provincial, federal and corporate maintenance guidelines to prevent safety hazards, increase equipment longevity and improve productivity.

The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator will ensure that all internal customers of maintenance receive timely, efficient and quality services whilst adhering to provincial, federal and corporate maintenance guidelines to prevent safety hazards, increase equipment longevity and improve productivity.
Scope Of Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive and review all reactive work orders from the requesting departments of the assigned areas.
- Identify and obtain materials/contractor permits required on the work order.
- Consult with requestor, maintenance supervisors, contractors, engineers or craftsmen when necessary.
- Ensure safety, permit to work needs, access arrangements and escort requests are given top priority in work planning and scheduling.
- Review, plan and schedule all recurring PPM (planned preventive maintenance) activities, maintaining and distributing annual schedules.
- Ensure proper resource allocation and create the appropriate Purchase Order in the current accounting system
- Develop and maintain a standard approach to implement the schedule of maintenance activities within the CMMS system.
- Responsible for related reporting, post-audit reviews, retaining ISO quality standards, supporting sites with the production of site specific maintenance.
- Provide support to technicians with regards to mobile device management, as well as acting as communication conduit to other departments such as finance or HR (non-confidential).
- Is authorized to work in Canada
- Ability to pass the screenings and background check required by the company
- Strong knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) – MAXIMO
- Great organizational skills, demonstrated through 3-5 years’ experience in a high volume maintenance environment
- Strong knowledge of work management processes, labor estimating, resource balancing, etc.
- Previous experience of working within a secure site with an ISO and Public Private Partnership (P3) structure
- Good working knowledge of facilities equipment and O&M requirements
- Strong understanding of proper H&S practices and procedures
- Strong understanding of skilled crafts such as HVAC, carpentry, electricity and life safety systems, building fabric, and plumbing, etc
- Technical writing and reporting ability
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and/or schematic diagrams is an asset
