CGC Inc. is currently recruiting a Regional Sales Manager (Ontario) for our Sales Team based in Oakville, Ontario.
It's a permanent and full-time position, offering a challenging opportunity for a motivated individual to demonstrate their sales, analytical, and leadership abilities.
Position Summary
The Regional Sales Manager position is a challenging opportunity for a motivated individual to demonstrate their leadership and customer relationship management skills within a fast-paced sales environment. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Sales, the successful candidate will be responsible for the sales function in the commercial channel in Ontario.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Develops and maintains strong customer relationships. Gathers market knowledge, identifies market opportunities, and develops strategies to profitably grow share.
Responsible for leading and developing a team of sales representatives. Effectively communicates expectations and targets and coaches for optimal individual and team performance.
Participates in creation and execution of sales strategy by developing business plans.
Develops and maintains strong cross functional relationships to ensure effective communication with other departments including marketing, manufacturing, logistics and customer service within USG and CGC.
Operates within a designated budget. Executes pricing strategy. Understands and complies with CGC policies and procedures and holds team accountable.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance
Requirements:
- 5 - 7 years previous sales management experience.
- Knowledge of CGC customers and construction practices/building materials is required. Experience in additional functional areas (customer service, marketing, etc.) is preferred.
- Proven leadership capability and customer relationship management skills.
- Successful at working independently with a sense of urgency, a high level of customer focus and attention to details and relationships that drive sales.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment, building strong cross functional relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), decision-making and issue resolution skills.
- Must be a people and results-oriented individual who incorporates and emphasizes safety and quality in all aspects of work.
