We are seeking to fill the permanent position of Technical Sales representation at Mill Supply Ltd., a division of Richelieu Hardware.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a results-oriented Technical Sales Representative to promote our precision cutting tools. The ideal candidate combines machining expertise with strong customer relationships to drive sales and provide on-site technical support. This territory-based role includes prospecting, client visits, and optimizing machining processes (turning, milling, drilling, threading).

More specifically, your main tasks will be:

  • Sales & Customer development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory,
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers,
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives and revenue targets,
  • Promote products and services through customer site visits, presentations, and demonstrations,
  • Collaborate with the inside sales and customer service teams,
  • Support inside sales activities as required.
  • Technical support & Consulting
  • Provide expert guidance on cutting tool applications (turning, milling, drilling, threading),
  • Recommend tool selection and optimize machining parameters,
  • Troubleshoot tooling issues on-site and propose cost-saving solutions,
  • Participate in technical training sessions and customer events,
  • Stay current on product innovations, market trends, and competitive tools.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of metal cutting processes and tooling solutions, CNC machining,
  • Previous experience working with cutting tools distributors or manufacturers,
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills,
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, and able to manage a sales territory,
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in an industrial B2B environment, managing priorities and building long-term client relationships,
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems,
  • Ability to travel regularly within the territory
