Junior Financial Analyst:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Junior Financial Analyst for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.


Junior Financial Analyst - Job Description:

The Junior Financial Analyst will support the T&O Business to Customer, Personal & Business Banking, and Wealth team by providing accurate data analysis and reporting. This role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance strategic analytics initiatives, contributing to the efficiency of financial operations.


Junior Financial Analyst - Responsibilities:

• Ensuring reports and data pulls are complete, timely, and accurate.
• Collaborating with different groups to extract, clean, and transform data for analysis.
• Identifying, diagnosing, and solving problems related to data and visualizations.
• Supporting the development and execution of strategic analytics and reporting initiatives.
• Documenting and maintaining operational procedures for analytical and reporting processes.
• Managing inquiries from teams regarding reports.
• Producing standard month-end/mid-month portfolio reports, dashboards, and analyses, highlighting key problem areas.
  
  
  

Junior Financial Analyst - Mandatory Skills:

• Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., business or mathematics).
• 1-2 years of experience working in an office environment.

• Proficient in Power BI and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Familiarity with the financial industry.

This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time employment.
