Reporting to the Director of Accounting and Administration, the Decision Support Accountant is responsible for analyzing and improving financial processes to support efficient, cost-effective operations across the organization. This role provides insightful reporting, financial analysis, and business recommendations to identify risks, streamline procedures, and drive informed decision-making. Working closely with various departments, the Decision Support Accountant plays a critical role in enhancing performance through data-driven insights and continuous process improvement.

The Following Traits And Qualifications Are Required

  • Successful completion of 4th level of the CGA/CA/ CMA program with 5 years of relevant experience; or
  • Experience working with senior finance and non-finance business managers
  • An understanding of the nature of costs across the business, their relationships with cost drivers and products
  • Knowledge of financial management tools and techniques
  • High level of competence in financial modeling and reporting
