Finance and Administration POSITION TYPE: Full-Time Position Available SALARY: $51,573 - $72,573 per annum

Reporting to Manager, Business Systems, the Application Support Specialist is responsible for providing support and maintenance of business applications, technologies and processes for the Finance and Administration portfolio. This position will require the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot business systems issues, as well as effectively communicate with users to ensure they can access and utilize systems effectively. The Application Support Specialist will work closely with business stakeholders to implement and maintain business applications and processes, as well as provide training and support to end users REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The Application Support Specialist will work closely with business stakeholders to implement and maintain business applications and processes, as well as provide training and support to end users REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of a post-secondary diploma program with a focus on Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in a service management or customer support role in the area of supply chain management, information technology and/or finance
- Experience in systems implementation, administration, training, maintenance, and data integration.
- Experience in using ERP applications or similar business applications
- Demonstrated progressive experience in Supply Chain Management, or Business Administrative Systems roles
- Excellent relationship building abilities with customer-driven approach when working with diverse business stakeholders internally and externally
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills to work with stakeholders in a persuasive and influential way to provide support and guidance regarding Supply Chain and Finance processes and procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills required to provide recommendations or resolutions to complex issues
- Effective writing skills required to write guiding materials and update a variety of documents
- Excellent organization abilities to triage, prioritize and execute on competing workflows and anticipate obstacles
- Self-motivated and attention to details when planning, tracking and monitoring work progress and data
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement
- Knowledge in the areas of supply chain and associated business systems
- Knowledge of Change Management Principles
- Experience in a post-secondary or public sector environment
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- This position may be required to work overtime
- Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check
