About the role
We are looking for a National Large Loss, Operations Associate to join our growing team! We welcome level 1 adjusters with Casualty Experience to apply to this new and developing role. This role is an even blend between administration, reporting, and project work. Casualty experience is considered an asset due to the complex nature of the files we handle and the projects involving historical policy data.
What you'll do here:
- Oversee daily operations and participate in various ad hoc projects in support of the National Large Loss Claims Manager, requiring excellent communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively.
- Generate, interpret, and analyze various performance and compliance reports using Excel.
- Compile and automate a monthly report, using Excel, to highlight assignment data, risks, and trends, ensuring thorough analysis and communication to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure adequacy of Assignment Data for Quarterly Corporate Large Loss Committee reporting.
- Monitor and oversee our offline claims process, including quarterly audits of approximately 50 files.
- Support the Claims Manager and Regions with the National Large Loss Reserve Forum and Large Loss Notification and Alert Process.
- Administer and manage the National Large Loss Team SharePoint site, including organizing historical and legacy sexual abuse policy data to ensure claims handling efficiency.
What you bring to the table:
- University degree or any combination of training and experience deemed relevant for the role
- A minimum of 1-2 years claims experience in Casualty.
- Strong Knowledge of MS Office Applications, specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Self-Starter, highly organized and proactive.
- Demonstrate autonomy and flexibility.
- Ability to create and automate reports.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to analyze, interpret and present data.
- Highly collaborative.
- Customer Driven and Oriented.
