The Côté-Jardins inc. long-term accommodation and care center, has two facilities in Saint-Augustin-de -Desmaures and Sainte-Foy. It welcomes adults with loss of functional or psychosocial autonomy).

Our Côté Jardins facility in Sainte Foy is currently looking for nurses/auxiliary nurses b>to complete your evening shifts (2 shifts 7/14)!

Our main mission is to create a warm living environment for our 281 residents, as well as for our employees. Teamwork is our strength for comprehensive care of our customers: leisure department, nutrition team, occupational therapy, social work, nurses, specialized education and many others!

  • Profile Sought

    • OIIAQ permit
    • Diploma of professional studies in health, assistance and nursing
    • Experience with geriatric clients losing their autonomy (an asset)
    • Resourcefulness, empathy and developed listening skills!

    Tasks And Responsibilities

    • Provide nursing care and treatment with the aim of maintaining and restoring health, preventing illness and providing palliative care;
    • Collaborate in assessing the health status of residents by collecting relevant information on a daily basis;
    • Contribute to the management of crisis situations in collaboration with the care team;
    • Ensure adequate supervision at all times;
    • Promote the creation of a calm climate in order to promote rest for residents;
    • Collaborate in supportive care according to the 14 basic needs;
    • Participate in team meetings to update the various nursing tools;
    • Create and maintain interactions between the family and the resident in order to encourage their involvement in decision-making.
