As a Commercial Security Guard, there is a high focus on Scheduled Patrols, excellent report writing and customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in a Commercial environment.

- Permanent Position (Saturday and Sunday 2400-0800) Must be able to work all shifts

- Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
- Answer questions in person or by phone
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
- Building Interior and exterior patrols with G-Track Device
- Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches.
- Conducting daily functions of the security unit including access control, security escorts, responding to calls for service, report writing/note taking
- Performing property inspections and enforce property laws, client rules, and other regulations
- Provide keys and temporary pass to visitors/employees
- Liaising with visitors, customers. and the general public on a consistent basis
- Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through positive teamwork
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid Manitoba security license
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
- Strong computer skills
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Removal of unauthorized individuals
- Ability to stand on foot and walk for long periods of time
