Your Mission:
The role of Account Manager – Surface Products is an opportunity to develop and grow business prospects for Epiroc’s surface equipment and associated products in Western Canada. Based out of our Regional Office in Langley BC, this exciting & new position will be responsible in taking our surface construction & mining business to the next level. You will be responsible for owning the customer relationships and always maximizing your focus on customer centricity.
Responsibilities:
- To develop and grow business prospects and customer relationships for products & services within the Epiroc surface equipment portfolio.
- Manage and coordinate the introduction of new products into the surface drilling market with a focus on equipment, automation, and digitalization.
- Champion the development of a territory management plan to increase Epiroc’s market share of surface equipment in Western Canada through direct or indirect (dealer) channels.
- 5 – 10 years of construction or mining related education and / or work equivalent
- General knowledge of Epiroc products & applications along with the surface construction / mining market in Western Canada
- A proven track record of achieving growth in business market development along with customer share.
- Experience in the construction / mining industry will be considered an asset.
- Superior skills in customer relations & sales with an aptitude to hunt for new business.
- Portrays experience in market research & development.
- Experience working in both the SRD & PSD business lines along with prior Account Management experience within Epiroc will be considered assets.
- Possess a high degree of technical ability & initiative.
- Ability to travel throughout the region at a 50% minimum.
- Portrays superior customer service skills.
- Customer and Sales orientated.
- Knowledge of our customer industry relevant to your region
- Good sales skills
- Experienced negotiation skills
- High level of business management skills
- Technical knowledge on all products within your region
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills
