  • The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.

About The Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Project Manager IV to oversee risk management activities for their MP portfolio of projects. This role is crucial in ensuring the identification, assessment, response, monitoring, and control of risks, with a strong emphasis on supporting timely implementation of risk-based decision-making and establishing corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Risk Management: Manage risk identification, assessment, response, monitoring, and control for the MP portfolio of projects.
  • Facilitation: Lead early risk and opportunity identification, assessment, and response planning sessions to support planning activities.
  • Development: Create templates and flowcharts for project risk management processes and execution strategies.
  • Monitoring: Oversee risk response progress, identify emerging risks, and implement appropriate responses.
  • Schedule Assessment: Establish schedule risk models and assess the confidence level of meeting the In-Service Date.
  • Collaboration: Work with the project team to lead risk-based decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Documentation: Ensure timely updates of the risk register and generate comprehensive risk reports.
  • Analysis: Conduct continuous cost and schedule review/analysis, and evaluate the impact of changes on the project.
  • Constructability Reviews: Conduct constructability review sessions to ensure project feasibility.
  • Contingency Support: Assist in contingency estimation and calibration for all projects.
  • Lessons Learned: Conduct lessons learned sessions, issue resolution, trend analysis, and ensure timely communication of insights to other teams within the Projects Organization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in risk management or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
