What You’ll Do
As a UX/UI Designer Co-op Student, you will work closely with Senior Product Designers to create user-friendly and accessible digital experiences for our financial services customers. You’ll gain practical experience designing wireframes, mockups, and user flows, while collaborating across teams to ensure designs meet real-world needs and accessibility standards. What You’ll Do
As a UX/UI Designer Co-op Student, you will work closely with Senior Product Designers to create user-friendly and accessible digital experiences for our financial services customers. You’ll gain practical experience designing wireframes, mockups, and user flows, while collaborating across teams to ensure designs meet real-world needs and accessibility standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing wireframes, mock-ups, and user flows using Figma
- Organizing design assets in Figma and Zeplin for team consistency
- Supporting user and market research efforts to inform design decisions
- Collaborating with developers to ensure design implementation accuracy
- Applying WCAG accessibility standards to all design work
- Participating in design reviews and providing constructive feedback
- Apply knowledge of responsive design principles and component-based design tools
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in UX/UI Design, Interactive Design, Digital Design, or related field
- A portfolio that demonstrates your design process and problem-solving skills (school projects welcome)
- Understanding of user-centered design principles
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design
- Knowledge of responsive design principles
- Experience with Figma and component-based design tools
- Interest in financial services, fintech, or e-commerce applications is an asset
