Valiant TMS, a global industry leader, is looking for a Mechanical Designer to join our Aerospace division in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, where we design and build automated aircraft assembly tooling, positioning systems, Power Drive Units (PDUs), and Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems. What You’ll Get To Do
- Create and revise CAD models and technical drawings in alignment with aerospace standards and customer specifications.
- Design customized tooling and automated equipment for aircraft structures, component assembly, and related aerospace applications.
- Estimate design hours and plan deliverables from concept through to design release.
- Develop creative, functional, and compliant mechanical solutions that meet stringent aerospace industry regulations.
- Conduct engineering calculations, select materials, and assess structural integrity through FEA or other analysis methods.
- Collaborate with internal and external design teams to produce complete and accurate drawing packages.
- Support the manufacturing and integration phases, ensuring designs perform as intended on the shop floor and in the field.
- Education & Experience: Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with prior experience in aerospace or industrial automation preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and preferably CATIA; familiarity with GD&T and FEA. Experience with aerospace design standards is an asset but not required.

- Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Travel to the USA may occasionally be required.
