About The Role

The role of the AV Maintenance Administrator is a key member of the Royalty Operations team. You will be responsible for the records management of all incoming cue sheet/music usage reports for Film and Television including outbound requests for missing reports from broadcasters, producers, foreign affiliates and/or members. You will ensure timely sorting, tracking and indexing of cue sheets submitted as well as data entry of production data and relevant information using SOCAN’s database.

What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring the main general inbox and tracking of all incoming cue-sheet/music usage reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Scan and sort all relevant documents including organization of their electronic storage
  • Contacting external parties for missing music usage reports and maintaining regular follow-ups to ensure timely receipt within agreed service level agreements
  • Processing and data entry of production information of newly received cue sheets/music usage reports
  • Compare duplicate cue sheets by researching and identifying conflicting information and resolve discrepancies
  • Proactively advise Team Lead of any potential processing and efficiency improvements and actively participate in any team or department initiatives
  • Other duties, as required

What You Will Bring / Qualifications & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Music industry knowledge or work-related experience
  • Music business diploma or certificate
  • Computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications with strong intermediate or advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent research and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem solver
  • Strong aptitude for figures
  • Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and ability to multi-task
  • Detail oriented
