Product Owner – Financial Planning & Analytics (Director)

We are seeking an experienced EPM Product Owner with deep, hands-on expertise in OneStream, specifically applied within Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leveraging OneStream to support planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management processes. Experience in hospitality or service-oriented industries—such as healthcare, retail, senior living, or residential services—is highly desirable.

The Product Owner will lead all aspects of business-side enablement, including deployment oversight, training, and change management, ensuring the platform meets evolving FP&A needs. They will also provide advanced user support beyond standard service desk capabilities.

With a focus on planning and forecasting, the Product Owner will work in close partnership with other Finance Product Owners (e.g., Revenue Management, Transactional Finance, Finance Data & Analytics, Tax & Treasury, and Operations Finance) to ensure end-to-end integration of finance technologies. This includes business applications, processes, and operating models that drive standardization, enhance user adoption, shorten planning cycles, and enable timely, actionable insights.

As the primary liaison between Finance and the OneStream Technology Lead, the Product Owner will collaborate with the Technology, Innovation & Digital (TID) team to maximize the value of OneStream and related planning tools. While the TID team is responsible for technical implementation and development, the Product Owner will focus on business enablement, innovation, and continuous improvement of FP&A capabilities.

Key Activities

Product Vision and Strategy

  • Work closely in collaboration with TID to define, communicate, and manage the product vision, roadmap, defining user stories, and strategy for OneStream, considering business priorities, hospitality, and industry market trends.
  • Partner with TID to ensure Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) and reporting strategy supports enterprise financial reporting requirements in accordance with Four Seasons Enterprise Value Map (EVM)
  • Ensure financial data model supports existing reporting and maintains flexibility to handle future needs
  • Stay up-to-date on Microsoft Reporting Platform (Power BI) to take advantage of new functionality
  • Stay connected with OneStream and hospitality FP&A community, their partners and clients.
  • Conduct market research and stay updated on OneStream best business practices to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Work closely with global Finance stakeholders to prioritize features and enhancements based on business value and user needs.
  • Ensure customer-driven design considering user experience requirements and solution usability, using market and industry knowledge

Product Backlog Management

  • Create and prioritize product backlog, ensuring that it reflects value and feasibility of items.
  • Collaborate with the TID development team, which provides a list of future features, to refine backlog items, ensuring they are well-defined, estimated, validated with the business and ready for implementation.
  • Continuously prioritize and reprioritize backlog items based on changing business needs, market conditions, and stakeholder feedback.

Partnership with TID

  • Partner with the TID department to build the Product roadmap that reflects Finance's needs and desires, capturing any available innovations and improvements.
  • Nurture the engagement between the Finance, Data Governance, Data Analysis, and TID departments to ensure the OneStream platform is continuously evolving towards its full potential.
  • Proactively share knowledge between the TID department and Product Owners to drive OneStream, RevPlan, OnTrack, and other planning solutions
  • Share knowledge about FP&A business functionality and business process learnings.
  • Understand the delta and business ramifications between how technology is currently working and how it should be working in a leading business practice finance organization.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer Science, Business Administration (Finance, Accounting etc), Mathematics Business Administration, or other quantitative disciplines.
  • 10+ years in Finance or relevant consulting experience demonstrating the ability to develop and drive adoption of analytical products to support decision making. 5 Years or more experience with OneStream would be a key differentiator.
  • Expert user of OneStream platform with proven hands-on experience (3 years or more) with the platform.
  • Any required OneStream Certification must be kept up to date.
  • Working towards the certification could be considered based on the number of practical years with the system.
  • Experience with key FP&A concepts will be benefit.
  • Must have experience with using Multi-Dimensional Data models that will allows build of complex reports/dashboards.
  • Strong business and FP&A financial process knowledge and experience with OneStream.
  • Financial acumen and understanding of hospitality finance detailed processes (L1 – L5) to ensure the Four Seasons OneStream global finance solution meets the needs of finance of the future.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, vendor partners, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex business requirements and translate them into business and process requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, and experience working with Agile development teams.
  • Expert user of OneStream platform or working towards certification. The Required OneStream Certification must be kept up to date.
  • Knowledge of OneStream best business practices, hospitality and financial business processes, industry trends, and emerging technologies in the EPM space.

  • Accountable for Four Seasons Finance benefits realization.
  • Requirements gathering and prioritization: Ability to gather and prioritize requirements from finance stakeholders and align them with business goals.
  • Training: Capability to deliver training courses and support to finance stakeholders on the effective use of OneStream.
  • Techno-functional acumen: Knowledge and experience in both business and functional aspects of OneStream to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Together with the respective finance business leads, deliver the outcomes within Standard Operating Procedures. Ensure that optimum solutions are built through process and respective fin-tech tools. This team will work closely with respective teams to maintain the SOP’s.

This role will be a Hybrid working model, which will require 3 days per week in the Four Seasons Corporate Office located at 1165 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario
