Responsibilities include the following:
- Completing and contributing to Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments including landfill/lagoon monitoring programs, implementing remediation techniques, and developing management strategies.
- Liaising with clients, laboratories, and contractors.
- Preparing work plans, proposals, and technical reports for projects.
- Contributing to business development, including pro-active business development, leading, and assisting in proposal preparation.
- Tracking project budgets.
- Managing small and large-scale projects.
What you will bring:
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (graduate degree preferred).
- 10+ years post-graduation consulting experience in contaminated sites, including project management.
- Registered or eligible for registration with a professional organization in Alberta (e.g. P.Ag, P.Geo or P.Chem).
- Willingness to support projects in remote locations.
- Knowledge of provincial and federal legislation and regulatory requirements surrounding contaminated sites.
- Self motivated with strong time management and organizational ability.
- Strong writing skills.
- Ability to follow direction and take initiative.
- Commitment to quality work.
- Valid driver's licence.
