As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a vital part in delivering outstanding service and solutions to our clients on a range of projects, including mechanical equipment assessments, HVAC system design consulting, build system consulting for new construction, depreciation reports, warranty reviews, and so much more. General Responsibilities
- Attitude: Exhibit a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team spirit. Take ownership of your work and focus on providing solutions.
- Marketing: Represent Sense Engineering professionally, building positive relationships with clients, contractors and other consultants.
- Knowledge Development: Enhance your understanding of building science, life cycle analysis and costing while sharing insights and lessons learned with the team.
- Assist in preparing mechanical construction documents and equipment specifications
- Conduct site evaluations and mechanical assessments
- Contribute to mechanical report writing
- Support project coordination and contribute to successful project delivery
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless communication
- Represent Sense at client meetings and other networking functions with a commitment to exceptional service standards
- Other duties as assigned/required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college
- AutoCAD experience is a must
- Proven experience in mechanical systems design for buildings, building systems, life cycle analysis, and cost estimation
- Registered with or eligible for registration with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail coupled with a client-centric mindset
- Team player who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to creative thinking and approaching challenges from fresh perspectives, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing within the organization
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation required
