Your Impact

A Business Operations Leadership role at OpenText is a powerful platform to influence organizational effectiveness and strategic growth. In this role, you will drive financial discipline and transparency, optimize costs, and support business case development. You’ll oversee headcount data, providing critical insights to guide reorganizations and workforce planning. By championing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives, you will enable streamlined collaboration across product teams. Through rigorous KPI reporting and future-forward automation strategies, you’ll transform operations with scalable, data-driven decisions. Your leadership ensures alignment, compliance, and lasting impact across the business.

What The Role Offers

As the Director of Business Processes, you will:

  • Lead and develop a global team of analysts.
  • Lead financial operations in partnership with FP&A, supporting cost analysis, budget alignment, PIM reporting, and future business case development.
  • Oversee headcount management for 7000+ employees, enabling workforce planning, reorganizations, and forecasting for hiring initiatives.
  • Drive cross-functional process improvement initiatives, cost-optimization strategies, and operational streamlining.
  • Manage performance metrics by producing quarterly KPI reports, identifying areas for improvement, and refining reporting measures.
  • Support future automation strategies to increase operational efficiency and reduce manual workloads across business processes.
  • Uphold governance by ensuring adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.

What You Need To Succeed

  • 10+ years of experience in business operations, financial planning, or strategic program management, preferably within a global enterprise environment.
  • A CPA designation or MBA is considered an asset.
  • Experience leading and developing globally distributed teams.
  • Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, with experience partnering closely with FP&A and using tools like PIM and KPI dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex headcount data and support workforce planning and reorganizations.
  • Familiarity with writing business cases.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional process improvement and cost-optimization initiatives across large, matrixed organizations.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and digital transformation strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and governance skills with a deep understanding of corporate compliance frameworks and reporting standards.
