Your Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, schedule, and train back-of-house staff including cooks and dishwashers during events.
- Ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, and sanitation across all kitchen operations.
- Manage food production and prep to support premium suites, concessions, and catering services.
- Collaborate with the Hospitality Manager to evaluate menu items, portion control, and food costs.
- Assist with purchasing, receiving, inventory tracking, and ensuring proper food storage.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and health/safety compliance within kitchen facilities.
- Support new hire onboarding and staff performance development.
- A hands-on leadership approach and a calm, professional demeanor under pressure.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety regulations, and inventory systems.
- Effective communication and organizational skills to manage teams and workflows.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to support various events and shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Commitment to providing exceptional service in every aspect of food and beverage delivery.
- Completion of a two (2) year diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum three years of supervisory or leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-volume commercial kitchen or hospitality setting.
- Food Safe certification and experience with catering or event-based service models.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
