Shift pattern for this post is fully rotational shifts consisting of: day shifts 07.30-19.54, ENP day shifts 09.00-2100, night shifts 19.30- 07.45 and weekends.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Emergency Department/Minor Injury Unit and Victoria ACH Minor Injury Unit for an experienced registered nurse, with ED experience, to join as a senior member of the team.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual, with a tenacity for Emergency Department and Minor Injury leadership role, who have passion and development goals towards progressing to band 6.
A high level of interpersonal, communication, prioritisation, leadership and organisational skills are essential. All applicants must have the flexibility to work a rotational shift pattern consisting of: day shifts 07.30-19.54, ENP day shifts 09.00-2100, night shifts 19.30- 07.45 and weekends.
Applicants should have good knowledge of working in an Emergency Department and have experience of working at senior band 5 level or exposure at band 6 level level. You must be able to demonstrate commitment to patient-centred care, whilst supporting adherence to unscheduled care performance and ensuring that quality standards and key performance indicators are met.
It is desired that applicants will be able to demonstrate continued education at advanced level and dedication towards quality improvement. It is desired that applicants will hold HEI accredited minor injuries qualification, however this is not an essential criteria.
