Your new role will be

As our newest Parts Specialist and Warehouse Clerk you will provide our customers with excellent customer service be it in-person at our office, over the phone, and email as you handle a variety of tasks related to purchasing and ordering of requested parts. You will also be responsible for all picking, packing, shipping and receiving tasks for our parts and equipment orders in our local warehouse, following our logistics flow best practices.

This position reports to the Customer Service and Logistics Manager and is based in Dieppe, NB.

The main activities you’ll take care of

  • Receiving requests for quotations through walk-in, phone and email from external customers
  • Answering customer RFQ inquiries and other technical inquiries regarding parts identification and breakdowns
  • Taking opportunities to up-sell, make suggestions and provide advice on services and products available to add satisfaction for the customer and increase our sales
  • Using our CRM software to record and retrieve client information, verify inventory levels process quotations and submitting purchase orders for processing.
  • Ensuring consistent follow-ups throughout the whole process of receiving and processing quotations from customers.
  • Maintaining an on-going liaison with clients including availability of parts, price and lead time
  • Picking, packing and dispatching parts orders in a safe manner
  • Reporting any product quality issues for further escalation through our ticketing system
  • Receiving deliveries and accurately assigning location if not already available
  • Reviewing shipping requirements for parts and equipment
  • Shipping and loading of equipment using a forklift
  • Participating in the annual inventory count
  • Processing monthly returns & scrapping according to the Inventory Controller
  • Complying with the organization’s environmental, health & safety, recycling, sustainability efforts and quality assurance policies and standards.

What Will Help You Succeed In Your New Role

  • Your strong customer service skills and experience in a customer facing position
  • Your experience using Microsoft, Excel, Outlook (CRM, SAP/ or other ERP knowledge would be a strong asset
  • You have previous experience using a forklift
  • You can communicate in English and French (written and spoken)
  • Your ability to collaborate well in teams and be disciplined when working independently
  • Your knowledge or experience with spare parts would be an asse
  • Your experience using a ticketing system would be an asset
