Our client, a close-knit and supportive downtown Vancouver office, is seeking a warm, proactive, and detail-oriented Receptionist to be the welcoming face and organizational hub of their team. This role is ideal for someone who takes immense pride in their work, possesses strong emotional intelligence, and thrives in an environment where client experience is paramount.


As the Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for all clients and visitors, creating a positive and professional first impression. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office, maintaining a tidy and organized environment, and providing essential administrative support. This position requires initiative, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to anticipate needs and contribute effectively, even during quieter periods. For the right candidate, there may be opportunities to assist with marketing or accounting tasks.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the front desk, including warmly greeting clients and visitors.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls with a professional and welcoming demeanour, ensuring a positive client experience.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the office common areas.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, stocking supplies, and office upkeep (e.g., emptying the dishwasher, managing snacks).
  • Proactively identify and address office needs, demonstrating strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
