About The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Business Advisor, Prestige to join our growing team!
As a Senior Business Advisor, Prestige you will be responsible to analyze data, monitor, and distribute reports and propose creative business solutions that contribute to the growth, profitability, and productivity of our division. This role will be working directly with the leadership and business development teams in Prestige.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven expert who excels at transforming complex data into compelling stories and strategic recommendations. As a Senior Business Advisor, you will leverage your analytical prowess and innovative thinking to influence key business decisions and drive organizational success.

As a Senior Business Advisor, you will leverage your analytical prowess and innovative thinking to influence key business decisions and drive organizational success.
What You'll Do Here
- Analyze business performance metrics, market trends, and industry insights to provide strategic recommendations that align with company goals and enhance business growth.
- Craft compelling narratives using various tools, notably PowerPoint, to communicate complex data insights in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner to diverse stakeholders.
- Partner with multiple teams to drive best practices and ensure alignment with organizational strategies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, data analytics advancements, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge and drive continuous organizational improvement.
- Collect, monitor, and analyze broker data to identify trends, issues, and potential solutions. Examples include, but are not limited to adoption of digital tools, adoption of Contact systems, deep dives, etc.
- Create and automate reports that present relevant data in a clear and concise format.
- Lead small to large scale projects with stakeholders across the operation to enhance efficiency, improve stakeholder experience, drive growth and profitability.
- Act as a technical resource to support day-to-day operations.
- Work with stakeholders to dive deep into problems, find root causes of issues, and determine possible solutions/recommendations. Challenge the status-quo, be inquisitive and curious to dive deep into issues.
- Analyze business and operational challenges and recommend solutions to business leaders, in support of performance and effectiveness.
- Prepare materials as needed that present the data in a clear and concise manner and adapt depending on the audience.
- Experience with developing operational reporting and leading moderately complex analyses - is required
- Post Secondary education in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Actuarial studies – is required
- Minimum 5-years processional experience in reporting and data analysis – is required
- Advanced using Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel (Power Query) – is required
- Communication: Strong experience in communicating technical analyses clearly – is required
- Strong proficiency with programming languages and data management (Power BI, SAS, SQL, Python, VBA, PowerApps) – is required
- Competencies: adaptability, innovative, analytical, decision making, critical thinking, clear communication, planning and organizing, team oriented.
- Property & Casualty insurance knowledge an asset
- Self-driven, autonomous, and solution-oriented
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
