We are seeking Part Time Bowling Attendants whose interpersonal skills will endear them to our membership. As a Bowling Attendant you will be the friendly face greeting members and their guests during league play, social functions, and open play. You will be responsible for the serving of food & beverage, general maintenance, cleaning, and working in confined areas. You will get to see behind the scenes and be part of how we bring the magic to the sport of bowling.
Responsibilities
These are Part Time positions that report to the Bowling Supervisor. The successful candidate may be required to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check including a vulnerable sector check as well as ProServe Certification, Respect in the Workplace and Respect in Sport online certifications prior to commencing employment.

Responsibilities
- Service excellence, creating a positive bowling experience for members, guests and staff by completing tasks such as answering questions regarding operating hours and programming and responding to member concerns, compliments and suggestions in a timely manner
- Provide food and beverage service, including serving alcohol, to members and guests as requested including placing orders, cleaning tables and collaborating with the food and beverage team as needed
- Maintain the integrity of the lanes and bowling machinery through general maintenance, cleaning and implementation of lane usage guidelines
- Assist the Bowling Supervisor with running leagues by completing tasks such as recording high scores
- Accurately record all reservations in addition to planning and coordinating all special events in conjunction with the Bowling Supervisor and food and beverage team as necessary
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, seminars and in-service training sessions as a part of professional development
- Customer service oriented
- ProServe Certification
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills and team work focused
- Demonstrates initiative when problem solving
- Ability to attend to problems arising with bowling equipment
- Familiarity with computer systems
- Knowledge of the sport of bowling and/or food & beverage experience is an asset
