What You’ll Be Doing

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
  • Develop strategic plans to increase revenues with existing customer accounts and to prospect new business opportunities.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers at all levels within client organizations.
  • Identify and analyze customers’ climate control needs and requirements, and present appropriate solutions.
  • Actively participate in conferences, trade shows, and marketing events to increase company visibility and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with other Cooper divisions and members of the Sales Team to provide excellent customer service and technical support throughout all stages of the rental cycle, and to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
  • Accurately document sales activities in the CRM system, and effectively use the CRM and other technology for sales pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Develop a strong understanding of market conditions and competitor pricing.

Qualifications And Requirements

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Proven experience in Outside Sales; preferably 3 to 5 years of B2B sales experience within climate control, construction, equipment rental, or closely related industries. Prior experience with account management is preferred.
  • Knowledge of propane and climate control solutions is required, including working knowledge of the B149 Canadian propane codes.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than three demerit points). You will be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request.
  • Highly driven for results with a customer and team-oriented mindset.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as with a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, and strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Proven prospecting and needs analysis experience.
  • Proficient with computers including the Microsoft Office suite & CRM software.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Continuous drive to learn with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
