- Have post-secondary education in a health-related or quality improvement field.
- Understand relevant policies, procedures, legislation and regulations applicable to the long-term care sector, including the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021 and Health & Safety Act of Ontario.
- Update and manage information to assist in the collection and analysis of quality improvement data.
- Ensure continuous quality improvement and risk management through the coordination and analysis of quality assurance audits, ongoing training and education of team members to meet legislative and organizational standards.
- Demonstrate an ability to ensure a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in your work including data entry, analysis of data and documentation.
- Coordinate Village engagement surveys, analysis and reporting.
- Have exceptional computer efficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Work in a Cross-Functional team environment.
- Demonstrate an ability to provide a positive customer experience and trust for our residents, families, team members, volunteers and students.
- Informatics and quality assurance experience
- Experience working in a Long-Term Care setting
- Current Heart Save Level of CPR
