About the role
We’re looking for a Program Manager to join our growing team!
In the context of various infrastructure projects such as 1. The development and redevelopment of workspaces or multimedia rooms, 2. of work tools and associated positions, 3. telephony software enhancement, 4. information sharing with Intact's external partners (suppliers or collaborators), 5. Hyperautomation, the Senior IT Project Manager must lead, plan and deliver all aspects of projects/programs (business or IT) within the agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality according to Intact's methodology. He must also build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and business partners to ensure the company makes a profit.
What you'll do here:
Maintain an unwavering business focus and understanding of the current strategic direction of Intact's technologies.
Master the business case while developing an understanding of the business field.
Manage projects/programs by understanding the company's strategies, priorities and issues. Assess capabilities to be able to propose appropriate solutions and deliver the company's values.
Manage stakeholders and maintain good relationships with internal and external collaborators.
Define the mandate and scope of an infrastructure project/program in collaboration with the project/program sponsors. Initiate activities to initiate project/program initiatives and establish a vision of scope with the sponsor.
Divide the project into actionable "sprints" and establish a functional organizational chart with roles and responsibilities.
Develop and maintain integrated plans/project/program roadmaps by identifying deliverables and dependencies, estimating the duration and associated costs and participating in the assignment of human resources to sub-activities.
Provide timely advice to experts and sponsors throughout the project/program to achieve and meet the intended objectives.
Ensure that the investment in the project/program delivers the best deliverables/products or optimal value to the client/sponsor.
Build, direct and coordinate, in direct and/or indirect supervision mode, the activities of multidisciplinary teams including project managers (PMs) and project controllers (PCOs).
Write reports on the entire project (progress, problems, costs, closure, etc.) while respecting established performance indicators. Lead the risk management of the project3program.
Manage deliveries efficiently. Maintain dashboards periodically and progressively throughout the project/program.
Anticipate problems and difficult situations and take the necessary steps to resolve them.
Ensure proactive and effective communication at all levels of the project/program.
Ensure the implementation of the right communication channels between employees and stakeholders.
Manage and meet client relationships, senior management and senior project managers (if applicable).
Bring leadership and vision to the project. Formalize processes and quality control.
Assist with Intact's project management practices and assist in their ongoing development. Act as a mentor to project/program team members.
What you bring to the table:
10 to 15 years of Project Manager experience
A minimum of 7 to 10 years in infrastructure project management
A minimum of 2 to 5 years in Agile project delivery
PMP certification (an asset)
Good ability to manage difficult stakeholders
Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence
Developed political sense
Result-oriented
Dynamic and autonomous
Technical environments: Network, Telephony, Workstation, Hyper automation, M365 Collaborative Tools, Cloud Solutions.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
