Job Overview

We are recruiting a Finish Dozer Operator for a project in Southwestern Manitoba, preferably local to the area, with experience doing lease reclaims. The role requires a good understanding of construction operations, physical stamina, and the ability to interpret site plans.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform daily inspections of equipment prior to operation.
  • Abide by all Safety standards and codes.
  • Follow directions that are spoken or delivered by hand signals of ground crew members.
  • Perform other related tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a dozer operator
  • Experience with finishing work is required
  • Knowledge of land clearing methods, heavy equipment operation and industry requirements
  • Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test including cannabis
  • Class 5 driver’s license
  • Must be immediately eligible/able to work in Canada.
  • Local candidates preferred
