What You’ll Like About This Job

This full-time permanent role supports heavy equipment maintenance at the Stobie Open Pit mining operation in Sudbury. Technicians will troubleshoot and repair large mobile mining equipment on rotating 12-hour shifts. Ideal candidates hold a valid 421A, 310T, or related certification and have experience in hydraulics, 24V systems, and heavy braking systems.

What You’ll Need

• Valid Journeyperson certification (421A, 310T, 310S, or 425A)
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience with mobile mining equipment
• Knowledge of hydraulic and 24V electrical systems
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather
  
  

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Experience with ABA braking systems
• Welding skills (non-pressure)
• Familiarity with Vale or similar mining operations
